This dreamy abode's Modern Nordic interior design is characterized by clean, sleek lines that combine light wood with gentle shades of baby pink, teal, and sage green to create a well-balanced palette. The entertainment-cum-gym area is isolated from the rest of the home by glass bi-fold doors, resulting in an ideal leisure zone that is free of distractions. The living room is awash with light and warmth, as a harmonious blend of neutral hues and organic textures exudes the essence of Modern Nordic interior design. The streamlined floating TV console is perfectly complemented by the timeless board-and-batten feature wall. The dining room is integrated with the living room to establish an open communal area, thereby enhancing the home's seamless movement.

The proprietors sought to establish a comfortable living environment by renovating their residence, as they were a family of homebodies.

A non-negotiable request was to separate the kitchen sink from the windows. The proprietors cook frequently, and the windows would always be dirty after using the kitchen sink. To resolve this matter, the interior designer devised a miniature walkway to establish a sufficient distance between the two components. Additionally, the original kitchen windows were replaced with rotatable ones to facilitate effortless and hassle-free cleaning. This was done for the sake of functionality.


At first, the living room was connected to a spacious outdoor veranda that would become saturated during rainy weather. The interior designer converted the outdoor balcony to an indoor one to create a more manageable space while preserving its distinctive shape and character. Bonus: a significantly larger living room!
